Once the research is done and everybody’s in agreement, we build a plan for how to integrate the necessary changes. A brand strategist’s work is not done in a day. This is a process of consulting and adjusting that happens over time.

A brand strategist should also be able to refine the brand. This step can entail a lot of different things! Refining the brand includes adjusting brand messaging and brand imagery. It’s also about maintaining consistency over time. 

 

For me, as a content writer, I’d go through a brand’s web content and adjust vocabulary, calls to action, etc. to present a clear brand voice. For my sister, who designs, refining the brand could be everything from adjusting thumbnails on social media profiles to redoing logos and colors to match the intentions of the brand.
